Week 59: My name is Hermana Eibert, Sister Eibert is my mother

Hey everyone!

This week flew by. Literally, I am not sure where it went. We traveled a lot and had so many things going on all at once. Wednesday my companion was very sick, but we still had 2 different meetings that we attended, and then we made the 3 hour bus ride to Rancagua to have intercambios with the hermanas in Cachapoal. It was so sweet to see and work with Hermana Dumes again! Love her to death. Thursday we were with the hermanas there in Rancagua and had a meeting at the mission home too. Spent the afternoon there and it's always fun to see President and Hermana Harris. I am incredibly grateful for them and all they do!

Saturday we spent most of the day working on moving the house of the elders and cleaning and gutting it completely. Their sector/area is closing and we are taking it over, on top of our own area. It has been crazy because they have had to work with us and try and teach us their area in a couple days and where all of their investigators live. I am praying my memory is good--haha. But we cleaned up their house and closed it down and they're gone now. We had the opportunity to eat lunch with the Hunzekers, a couple missionary that are heading home this week. They are the sweetest! And Hermana Hunzeker made us pumpkin pie!! Tender mercies are real!

Saturday night we received our transfer calls. Cambios!! Hermana Queiroz is leaving me alone in Jardin del Valle....(the ward said goodbye to both elders and her this weekend) and is heading to Rancagua! My new companion, who I have yet to meet, is an Hermana Collins. I am excited to meet her and work with her. This cambio is going to be crazy. We have a new assignment too to be managing the referrals here in Talca. Something new for me and I am excited to learn and take on a new challenge.

All in all...I love the mission. I am so grateful for everything I have learned and every single person I have met. I love the Lord and I know He loves us. And I am so excited to see what else he has in store.

My thought to share:

Short and sweet...more to come next week!

Love you all! Have a great week!

Con amor,
Hermana Eibert
